LG Electronics and Nokia Arena: A partnership built on technology

The collaboration between LG Electronics and Nokia Arena dates back to the opening of Nokia Arena. Now, the long-standing collaboration is entering a new phase with an official partnership. Over the years, LG’s display technology has become a key part of the digital experience at Nokia Arena.

Nokia Arena features one of Europe’s most extensive digital display networks. The arena’s extensive display network ranges from the massive cube and LED ribbon screens surrounding the bowl to various display solutions located throughout the venue. LG Electronics’ technology, including numerous displays, enables engaging and versatile content to become part of a wide range of events – from concerts and sporting events to corporate events.

The collaboration received international recognition in 2024, when Nokia Arena and LG Electronics were awarded the Human-CentriCity Award at the Seoul Smart City Prize. The award recognized the way innovative technology and human-centred design were brought together.

“It is great to see our long-standing collaboration with LG Electronics develop into an official partnership. Together, we can combine LG’s strong technology expertise with our ambition to continuously improve the experience and services we offer to event organizers,” says Jussi Maaniitty, Chief Digital Officer at Nokia Arena.

Ville Strömberg, Sales Manager in Finland, agrees: “We are very happy and proud over this partnership with Nokia Arena, together simplifying the visitors’ arena experience, thanks to LG’s smart technologies within professional display solutions, in combination with Nokia Arena’s strong commitment to continuous enhancements of the overall experience.”
